The 2011 Rock/Creek Trail Series is officially under way, with this afternoon’s running of the Southern 6k Trail Race. The weather was crisp, and we had a great turnout with over 180 participants.
The Southern 6k is a short, family-friendly event, and takes place at Southern Adventist University’s Biology Trail. Proceeds go directly to the University’s Outdoor Leadership program, as well as helping develop and maintain the trail system there. The day also marked the second running of our “Kid K,” for kids ages 12 and under.
