Race organizers from the Salomon Rock/Creek Trail Series today announce the full schedule of events for 2014. The newest season includes a new 100-mile trail race and the return of some of the most popular trail running events in the Southeast.
Rock/Creek, a Chattanooga-based independent outdoor clothing & gear shop, today announces the schedule for the 2014 Salomon Rock/Creek Trail Series. The latest series lineup includes 9 events and a total of 14 distance options, offering something for everyone from first-time trail racers to veteran ultra runners.

- March 22: Rock/Creek River Gorge Trail Race
- April 19: Chickamauga Chase Trail Race
- April 26: Scenic City Trail Marathon & Half Marathon
- May 16-17: Rock/Creek Thunder Rock 100
- June 13-15: Chattanooga Mountains Stage Race
- August 9: Rock/Creek Still Hollow Trail Race
- October 4: Rock/Creek StumpJump 50k
- November 1: Rock/Creek Upchuck 50k
- December 20: Lookout Mountain 50-miler
Registration for all races EXCEPT Upchuck and Chickamauga Chase will open at noon on January 15, 2014. Registration for the Upchuck 50k will open at noon on September 1, 2014. Registration details for the Chickamauga Chase Trail Race are TBD.
While all of the above races are included as part of the Salomon Rock/Creek Trail Series points race, the Rock/Creek Thunder Rock 100-mile trail race will not count toward series point standings.
