Toughest moment during a run/race?
Sometimes things don’t go as planned and you just have to put mind over matter. The mind is stronger than you think. If you tell yourself you can’t do something then odds are you want ever do it. Adapt and overcome. Just do it. I have to tell myself this sometimes in low moments during a long run or race.
Goals for 2017:
Races and event: First race of the year is the Black Mountain Marathon. I’ll also be running and supporting the Rock Creek Trail Race Series, which I hope to see you all there. I’ll also be traveling a lot during 2017 with Team Salomon in support of the Ragnar Trail Series.
Goals: Plan some adventures with my wife and friends. To have fun and make great, long lasting memories.
Tips for new runners?
Most of all have fun. Don’t worry about you’re pace nor your distance just simply have fun. It’s all about getting outside, being active and making memories with friends.
