It seems like yesterday that we were talking about prAna’s new spring styles, and longing for warmer weather. As it turns out, that was almost six months ago; now we’re neck-deep in warm (OK, hot) weather and longing for cooler days. The new prAna stuff is here, though, corduroy pants and sweaters and cute scarves and flannel shirts and all manner of wonderful clothing that has me staring out the window to see if any of the trees have started turning funny colors yet.
Luckily, much of the new prAna clothing for fall is perfect for late summer as well. Here are some of our favorite prAna styles this season — some brand new for Fall 2011 and some perennial classics — starting with women’s clothing:
prAna Kaley Tunic Top Made from a quick-drying recycled polyester blend with a touch of spandex, the Kaley Tunic is an under-the-radar performance top with a longer length and a feminine double strap. The internal shelf bra and flared bottom add definition without sacrificing comfort. Ideal for yoga, but refined enough for hiking or travel. |
prAna Long-Sleeved Lori Top The Lori top is a sheer, lightweight top with flattering side seams and neckline. Made from a 60/40 poly/cotton blend with an eye-catching pattern, it’s airy and comfortable with extra length in the sleeves. This is a great end-of-summer piece to wear with your favorite skirt, or pair it with the corduroy prAna Canyon Pant! |
prAna Willow Duster Sweater We know, it’s a little early to talk about a sweater, but the Willow Duster is a classic and we’re excited. This is a mid-weight duster sweater with cute oversized buttons and a luxurious, long cut. The textured acrylic blend is itch-free, and the hood is perfect for wrapping up after a long day of skiing. These disappear FAST. |
prAna Lucia Sweater Speaking of sweaters, the Lucia Sweater is brand new, made from a super-soft wool blend with a brushed poly backing. The extra long sleeves let you wear it as a warm-up layer for morning yoga sessions on frosty days. Waist buttons and stripe details set this one apart. I dare you to try and find a scarf that doesn’t go well with this sweater… it’s not possible! |
prAna Nadia Dress Using rayon (derived from bamboo) and organic cotton, the Nadia dress is a go-to travel piece that will spend as much time in your carry-on as it does in your closet. Super soft with a cuffed sleeve and crossover neckline, it has a just the right amount of spandex to move fluidly with you. Comfy enough to wear all day… or all week. |
prAna Autumn Cord Pant It’s not fall without corduroys, and the prAna Autumn Cord Pant is a classic, simple five-pocket cord that goes with everything. Check out the prAna Canyon Pant, too; both cord pants have a four-way stretch fabric and 2% spandex to easily tackle bike commutes or the scree-slope hike on the way to your favorite sandstone. |
Not to forget about the men, of course, the prAna Long Sleeved Buckeye Shirt features a subtle dobby weave in its organic cotton fabric, and the prAna Stretch Zion Pant is the full-length companion to the quick-drying, abrasion-resistant nylon shorts you’ve been wearing all summer. The prAna Belay Insulator Jacket will be here soon, too; bookmark that page and check back when the weather starts to turn, or enter your email to be notified when the first shipment arrives!
prAna clothing is meant for rock climbing and bouldering and yoga and hiking and traveling the world — all of the activities where you need quick-drying, breathable clothing that won’t slow you down. Fall styles are available now at Rock/Creek stores, and at rockcreek.com we carry the full range of prAna clothing; shop the limited remaining spring styles from our summer clearance, or dive right into the fall selection!

Great to see new collections of prAna for women. Even I have seen the collection of men too. I really like the duster sweater for women and short sleeve diamond for men. Keep updating your collection.
