In conjunction with Wild Trails, some local runners (and friends of ours) are holding a trail run this weekend at the Chattanooga Arboretum & Nature Center.
This race is a fundraiser for trail-building and maintenance efforts at the Nature Center, which is nestled on the banks of Lookout Creek in the morning shadow of Lookout Mountain. Our Lookout Mountain 50-mile trail race utilizes some of these trails, and there’s not a runner in Chattanooga who wouldn’t love to see more of them. Since you’re probably planning to run Saturday already, help support a good cause while you’re at it!
Plus… it has a really funny name.

This looks like it will be a lot of fun — the entry fee covers the run AND a post-race meal (with beer, and coffee from Blue Smoke Coffee Roasters) catered by Taqueria Jalisco. If that’s not enough, the guys putting this race on are really fun to run with. We’ll see you there!
