Hopefully, everyone is enjoying the warm weather we’ve been seeing in most of the country. When we think of warm, sunny weather, we think of women’s Patagonia clothing! We’re on the verge of launching a 3-day Patagonia sale — sign up for an email notification here — but we can’t spill the beans on exactly when that will start.
What we can do is help you decide which women’s Patagonia styles are right for you… so here are our top 10 Patagonia women’s clothing styles for Spring/Summer 2012, in no order! A few are brand new, but many of these are tried-and-true classics.
1. Patagonia Spright Dress
Brand new for 2012, the Patagonia Spright Dress is our favorite new Patagonia dress! Strappy with a scoop neck, above-the-knee length, and built-in bra. Made from a breezy organic cotton/Tencel.
Keyhole racerback shows off your shoulders after a long day of bouldering. Destined to become a classic.
2. Patagonia Kamala Skirt
Patagonia Kamala Skirt
Patagonia Kamala Cross-back Dress
The Kamala Skirt is your best friend for travel: it’s a skirt that converts into a halter dress! As a skirt, the hem falls below the knee; as a dress, it ties behind the neck and lands just above the knee. If you’d prefer a longer, breezy dress with the same organic cotton / Tencel blend, the Cross-Back Dress is perfect.
3. Patagonia Margot Dress
The Margot Dress is a super-versatile dress with a flattering V-front. It’s almost impossible to wrinkle, featuring comfortable one-inch shoulder straps and a gathered midriff. 95/5 organic cotton & spandex, in a great assortment of colors.
Wear it with leggings for bike commuting, over a swimsuit at the beach, or out to dinner!
4. Patagonia Lithia Skirt
The Lithia is a beautiful skirt, with a smoothly-draping organic cotton & Tencel fabric. The shirred waistband cinches with a side tie and the skirt falls just above the knee. Lightweight and breathable for hot summer days.
This piece can also be worn as a halter that ties behind the neck (similar to the Kamala Skirt). 17″ length.
5. Patagonia Baggies Shorts
The women’s Baggies Shorts are a staple — you can basically live in these, and you’ll look cute doing so. Great for the hike back from your favorite swimming hole, a weekend in a canoe or just getting caught in the rain while walking the dog! The fabric sits off the skin to prevent clinging when wet, and these dry super-fast. Great alternative to board shorts or swimsuit bottoms.
6. Patagonia Re-Tool Snap-T
Patagonia Re-Tool Snap-T fleece
If your springtime adventures take you to places with an early-morning chill, you can’t beat the Patagonia Re-Tool Snap-T for comfy warmth. With an attractive shape and kangaroo front pocket, the Re-Tool is lightweight, soft and compressible, with a high-end Polartec fleece material that’s toasty without the bulk. This is a must-have! Princess seams; slim fit.
7. Patagonia Torentshell Jacket
Lightweight rain jacket for hiking or everyday wear in wet spring conditions, available in a fantastic array of bright colors. This is Patagonia’s no-frills take on the $100-ish rain shell market and designed with the attention-to-detail & build quality you’d expect. Stowaway collar, pit zips, microfleece at the chin, adjustable wrist cuffs… and it packs into its own pocket.
8. Patagonia Tidal Skirt
The Patagonia Tidal Skirt is a pull-on summer skirt, in a wonderful 100% organic stretch cotton. With a 16″ length, this one ends at mid-thigh; it’s stretchy without being clingy or skin-tight, with a wide, flattering waistband.
Available in several fun prints. Our most popular Patagonia skirt!
9. Patagonia Corinne Dress
We love the Corinne Dress because it’s flattering for a variety of body shapes. You’ll love it because it’s the perfect dress for the girl on the go, a super fast-drying nylon/spandex blend that refuses to wrinkle. Don’t bother washing the salt water out of your hair… just pull this out of a drybag and hit the road! Supportive double bodice with shirred details; falls above the knee.
10. Patagonia Adze Jacket
Windproof, stretchy, comfortable and breathable — this might be the perfect spring jacket for everyday wear. We like the brand-new Adze Jacket so much, we wrote all about it two months ago!
Not the first windproof softshell out there, but we think it’s the best. Great for day hikes to blustery places or cool mornings at the campsite.
