Chattanooga local Jimmy Webb was recently picked up as a sponsor at HippyTree.  We couldn’t be more happy for him, and we look forward to hearing about his future exploits as a climber at events around the country and even close to home at the Triple Crown of Bouldering. Welcome him to the tribe, and come check out the cool HippyTree gear at our Rock/Creek at The Block store on Broad Street next to High Point Climbing & Fitness.

HIPPYTREE WELCOMES CLIMBER JIMMY WEBB TO THE TRIBE

Hermosa Beach, CA – HippyTree is proud to announce the signing of Jimmy Webb, one of the top climbing talents in the country. Out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, the 27 year old is a fixture in the climbing and bouldering community. Coming off a year of increasing exposure and accomplishments, Webb is excited to join a brand committed to supporting athletes who are redefining what’s possible.

“I’m happy to join a brand that’s changing things in the climbing world. There are so many brands in the outdoor space, I’m lucky to be with guys that aren’t afraid to think outside the box and try something fresh when it comes to apparel design.”

One of a handful of climbers to ascend multiple V15 problems, Webb’s list of achievements continues to grow. Webb was the winner of the 2013 Psicobloc Masters Series, beating several of the world’s best climbers. He has also flashed six V13 or harder boulder problems, leading many to consider him the world’s best flash boulderer.

Welcome to the Tribe, Jimmy.
