Jan Gautier, New Rock/Creek Race Team Member for 2010.
A long time competitor in running sports at the collegiate level, Jan Gautier is no stranger to competition. She currently works in the Chattanooga area as a running coach and science teacher, but by the weekend, she’s trail blazing and setting new course records!
View the video below, created by our friend Andrew Kornylak, and see what else motivates Jan to achieve several “First Place Woman Overalls” at prestigious races in the Southeast, all the while, carrying the Rock/Creek banner! ~Rock/Creek

Age: 44
Occupation: 6th grade Science Teacher at Baylor- Varsity Boy’s Cross Country Coach & Middle school Girl’s Cross Country and track coach
As a younger runner, I was 4 time AllAmerican in College and National Champion in the 3000. I had PR’s of 34:30 for the 10K and 2:45 for the marathon. I qualified in 1999 for the Olympic Trials Marathon. As a Master’s runner, I have run 38 minutes for the 10K, but have been running around 40 minutes lately. I run about 50 miles a week now with cross training. I would like to pick up the mileage and drop times in the half marathon distance.
